If microphone does not work, reduce the input level to ~5-10%.
COMPAL HL90 DRIVERS DRIVER
Enjoy! (For SD/MMC: edit /etc/sysconfig/kernel and set MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT="sdhci mmc_block")Įverything works except the 'bison' webcam whose driver used to work but is no longer maintained.Įverything works out of the box. Integrated i915GM VGA runs even Compiz very smoothly. Suspend to RAM: (must add "force" option to s2ram) Integrated i915GM VGA runs even Compiz/CompizFusion very smoothly. Enjoy! (For SD/MMC: edit /etc/sysconfig/kernel and set MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT="sdhci mmc_block")
I only had to set the native resolution to 1400x1024 using 855resolution package. SD/MMC CardReader will work if you load sdhci and mmc_block modules by hand. To 1280x800 with the command: "855resolution 3c 1280 800" in the file /etc/rc.d/boot.local or for SUSE 10.1, follow the instructions given in Patch the Video BIOS.Ĭonexant AC97, detected, configured, no soundįunction key works for brightness, not sound volume(coz no sound?) The only useful stuff is to set the native resolution
Switching off internal speakers when plugging in headphones doesn't work - with changings in settings, switch off by KMix possible Special buttons not working except Volume Up/Down/Mute & Silent ModeĮverything works well, without any effort. Modem: Cardreader:, but slow in Card detection Webcam: TV-Out,Two screens: Suspend to disk: Suspend to RAM: changing CPU-Speed: Does not have any issues when plugged-in. Not sure if this is a power management or Video driver issue. X11 server restarts intermittently when not plugged-in. Similarly with suspend to disk - it sleeps fine, and even if you have to pull the plug as described it will still restore your session. Not managed to get it to actually hit the off switch - you have to pull the battery out to actually kill it (although it seems happy on a restart if you do this). Wireless and wired networks function, as does USB.

If you update the kernel beyond what is on the standard 10.3 install disk then you will only render the desktop on the LHS of the screen - disable kernel updates to keep it in full screen! Everithing works very fine.Ĭhoose KDE desktop if you want to be able to use native 1400x1050px resolution.
